Both walks cover some very beautiful open spaces where you will observe the wonderful wildlife that inhabits these natural beauty spots.

This year Happy Child International wants to raise £5,000 to contribute towards the cost of running the Mentoring & Skills Training Project in Recife, Northeast Brazil. This is an amazing project helping lift vulnerable young people and their families out of poverty.
The project gives 40 over 16 year olds the opportunity to build their self esteem and resilience, improve their inter personal skills and enables them to acquire technical skills to work in industrial mechanics and business administration. Hands on work experience is supplied by the Gerdau Iron and Steel Company and at the end of the project there is the option to apply for paid work on their company apprenticeship programme.
This can be a life changing possibility and earning a salary can completely change their family circumstances. 60 young people have established long term employment through this wonderful project. YOUR GENEROUS giving would contribute towards the £2.44 per week per student that enables these young people to participate in the project.
How can you get involved?
If you are not free on Saturday 15th or 29th June 2024 perhaps you could organise your own sponsored walk in aid of Happy Child International on a different day or location.
